D.C. Cooper

A great hard rock album! No chance of confusing DC with Alice. Very different sounds and voices.

Right from the beginning I enjoyed this album. It starts off strongly and continues throughout. The production work on this album is awesome. It’s complete without any superfluous instruments raging through. One of the best-produced albums I’ve heard in a long time. And the overall sound is fantastic. This is one to be listened to with headphones and the volume way up!

His version of Uriah Heep’s old Easy Livin’ is a great moment overall. Dare I say better than the original? If I didn’t fear people throwing stones at me, I’d say yes…

When the Angel Comes is my overall favorite. Halfway between a ballad and a metal song (but not a metal ballad). A very powerful moment.

Overall, this may not be “album of the year”, but it’s an album that’s nice to come back to. Often. A good investment!
