And I just received my supply of "author's copies" this afternoon. So I'll be starting to ship them off later this week to all the mods (give me addresses!).

And if you've got a "review copy" (that was sent directly from the publisher) plan on getting a copy from me as well. So make someone happy with your spare copy.

Thank you again to everyone - both for making this possible and for putting up with me while it's been going on.

Peace

Publishers are always a royal pain and immensely inefficient. No need to apologize!

Thanks, David!

I've got to borrow the Teisco Del Rey short scale bass back from my daughter and play around with this book. She won't be using it for a while, she's working on her university senior project integrating her metal sculpture with dance that she's going to choreograph and teach some other girls to do with her.

Hi Alan

None of the overseas ones seem to have made it as yet. So I'm planning on sending my own copies out to you this week. You would have gotten this one from me personally anyway, so it's not bad. When you get one from the publisher, make a present of it to someone!

Don't know how long it will take but hopefully less than two weeks time.

Peace

Did we talk about you autographing it? That'd be nice.

All the mods copies will be autographed and thanks for reminding me to remind everyone - if there's something you want me to write, this is the time to say so. Otherwise I'll use my own disgression and lack of imagination...

Hoping to get a bunch out in tomorrow morning's mail with the rest to follow shortly.

Peace

Did I tell you my review copy arrived? It arrived on the first mail delivery day after I left Canada. So I'll be getting that forwarded to me when I get home.

Hi David,
Mine arrived at the end of the week. It's very impressive. I'm looking forward to digging into it. Congratulations!

My personally autographed copy turned up yesterday. It's really quite impressive, and I hadn't registered that it came with a CD. Good thinking Batman.

I've been reading through the book, and am well impressed with it, but don't yet have a bass to play with it. I hope to correct that soon.

We got ours too...

I had seen some of the early chapters, but I never expected it to be so BIG! There is a lot of stuff in there.

I'm going to be "borrrowing" my son's bass. I haven't told him yet.

Well, it don't rain, but it pours!

Today, my wife came back from a visit to her parents in the UK and brought me 4 or 5 UK guitar mags to read - and lo and behold, my review copy came in the post, as well (my wife thought the "Complete Idiot" very fitting :? ). So, now, I'm going to have SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much to read and inwardly digest.

The only disappointment is that the Danelectro Daddy-O pedal, that I bought off ebay, has still not arrived.

David, thank you very much for the kind inscription, in the book - one day, I'll get over to your neck of the woods (that's if you don't go into the Witness Protection Program, once Rahul gets your address  ).

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?
