After I get off work this afternoon, I'm loading up to head down to Gatlinburg with my wife and daughter. I'm attending a medical meeting. They'll be Christmas shopping. Back Friday evening.

Hope you had a good one John. We ended up coming back home after just the first day ( Robin wasn't feeling to good) At least I got to attend a good cardiac lecture.--ken
Sorry Robin's feeling bad. Hope she gets better quickly. The lectures at my meeting were a mixed bag. The stuff on the first day was pretty soft stuff with things like guys evangelizing about the benefits of computerized medical records and software demonstrations, which are fine and good if you're actually going to be using that software very soon but a total bore and waste if not. The presentations on subsequent days were a lot more clinically oriented.

I hope BabyDoc doesn't read this post. She's so annoyed with their "new and improved" EMR that she'll shoot anyone from IT just on principal.
Our hospital's IT staff are thoroughly incompetent. I sympathize.
