Anyone know about this person? He's been posting a recording lesson that our readers seem to enjoy.

I checked his website and there is no reference to these lessons, and there is no back-link to GN.
In my opinion, we recruit him as a contributor and/or ask him to stop posting full lessons in the forums. There is always the "do nothing" option, too.

He appears to know what he's talking about. I'd say "Recruit him"!

Yes, recruit him. Several years ago we had to post notices in several forums to stop folks from posting lessons there. Maybe you could remind him that we don't want lesssons posted in the forums and encourage him to submit the lesson to David.

Pronoun problem: "we"
Who should contact him? David, Nick, or myself? Other volunteers?
Why don't you send him a gentle message dissuading him from posting lessons in the forums and encourage him to submit the lesson directly to David? David can then contact Cooper on his own.

Instead of disuading him, why not write "hey, these would be a lot more use to everyone on the lessons' pages?" For the first one, he can even just cut and paste what he's got together so far...
Matter of fact, I'll do it. It'll take a lot less time than all the discussion...

Already done by me! Oh no - double-post crashing Inbox!
I sent you a copy of what I wrote him. It's still in my outbox so I can cancel it if you'd like. Unless, of course, he gets to it first...

OK - He just responded with "Thanks". I don't know how to interpret that.
I meant dissuade in the positive sense of the word??!!

Hmmm...This may have been partly my fault. I think I suggested that he do some lessons on recording a few weeks ago  I hope he decides to submit more lessons, he is very good at recording(and playing).
Apparently, I was not as tactful as I had hoped, and now he's gone away. David tried to get him back, but he's annoyed with me.
Dog, if you think you can repair this, give it a try.
Well, Diego wasn't exactly the nicest character, ya know.
Maybe it's the teeth?
Gerry is back :D I will be submitting some reviews and lessons to GN soon. I will ask Gerry to submit some lessons also. All in good time :D
