I haven't started any verses yet. Just have a rudimentary chorus. About fringe musicians ie: Captain Beefheart, Frank Sidebottom, Tiny Tim etc.

From the basement
To the living room
From the garage
To YouTube
From online to onstage
I'll be bringING something new
And I'll tear myself in two
You'll try to wear my shoes
And I'll turn my back on you
Because the art,
Must always be true

Hi John,

I'm not sure what topic this is for, but nevertheless... it seems like a possible chorus with the action/(what) and why...

....so consider filling in the other W's in the verses....Who (singer and singee), where, when, and the consequence of his stance....Does his manifesto hold up? Does he reach his target audience?

"Online to Onstage" is the advertising slogan for some popular guitar oriented web site. Maybe you have visited it.
