Sgt Pepper 'deconstructed' - The final 4-track mixdown of Sgt Pepper, minus the last track with the crowd noise, played one at a time and then all together.
Fascinating stuff, and a few suprises and hints for my future recording. The amount of reverb on the vocals for instance, I had no idea that that much was/is used!
PS, Anyone got anything similar? I love to hear/study tracks isolated in tunes I know, the more the better :)
I've got the making of the Dark Side of the moon DVD. It;s in multiple parts on youtube:

Same as Ignar's link...but instead it's "The Making of Electric Ladyland"

Pretty much all of VH1's "Making of..." DVDs are great.
that was fast, they already removed the Sgt Peppers clip off youtube. Thank you, RIAA
Thanks Arjen, Kevin, very good!

  Someone needs to beat the concept of promotion into those guys, preferably with a pointy stick...
You may get into trouble. I would say that we rather stop posting such links cauz afterall who knows RIAA is watching us secretly.
I would say we keep posting them because I find them very informative and usefull...
