Yes, those inversions are one of the first things I worked out! Another easy one you might like to try is Dylan's "Like A Rolling Stone" - C, Dm, Em, F, G, G7, G6...repeat, then F F7 G G6 G, played twice, then F Em Dm C played twice, then Dm Em F G and G7 - then you're into the chorus, which starts with C. Care to have a go at the rest? It's pretty easy! And 90% of the song is just ONE shape - the rest is just one-finger add-ons.
