I've always named things I loved. There's my big truck Bertha. My two pool cues, the twins, Kelly and Faith. My daughter Lucille. But, I haven't named any of my guitars. They aren't really mine, but loners from a family member who has enough to pass around. I can't name something that isn't mine. It kills me too. How can you truly love something that has no name.

The only one I named is my MIM Tele. It's in open-G with a humbucker in the neck. The name? Keefocaster.

I didn't have to name my Johnson. It was already done.

I call my Gordon Smith 'Honey', mainly because of the colour. Im not sure what to call my Ovation but my new Ibanez RD might be known as 'electra' as its all sparkly and blue.

The bass that I spent 15 years restoring is refered to as "Albatros".

ROFLMAO!!! You probably spank it in public too! Can't get away with that if it wasn't a guitar you were planning on spanking.
I don't name my guitars, but my wife calls them my girlfriends, so to annoy her, I call them "My precious".
