This year, the Riverside Jam will be in Chicago. Many of GN's most popular contributors will be there. We'll be performing this Friday July 26 at the Independence Tap, 3932 W. Irving Park Rd. Chicago. Music starts before 8p and runs non-stop through midnight or later.

Drop by if you're in the area - it'll be fun to put a face - and voice - to the names.

Sounds like a fun get together. Any jam reports on this ?

There's more coming. We just left the camera unattended in the corner, and it ran for hours... we're not even near the halfway point in editing the stuff yet :)

I think it's best to leave it to folks to identify themselves - partly because I don't know the GN pseudonyms of many of the jammers, but mostly to respect privacy if people want it.

But I'm the guy in the white t-shirt (you probably can't read the print on it, but it's a reproduction of Carlos Jobim's handwritten draft of "Girl from Ipanema") & the blue shirt doing some backup vocals on "Under the Boardwalk".

You're right Noteboat, I probably shouldn't have asked that.

It's a shame the world is so big, I would have loved to been there myself, looks like you had a great time!

Was it a full weekend? Do you decide the songs beforehand, or just there and then?

And I'm the one playing the ukulele since there are more than enough guitar players!

Peace

It seems you all had a great time there!

Thanks for the videos. I'll be watching them in the next few days.

I'm in the white shirt playing bass on about 1/3 of the songs...
