I had a car accident two weeks ago. I was crossing the street when a car hit me. I ended up in the hospital overnight. I split my head open and fractured my leg. Baby is ok and I find out next week if my leg will need surgery. I'll be off work at least 9 weeks possibly more if I need surgery. I only get 70% of my wages because the law here sucks. So I lose 30% while the guy that hit me loses nothing. Well that's not true, I hired a lawyer to prosecute him. Sigh, if I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck.

Well that sure is a complete case of bad news but also some good news, too. I'm glad your baby is ok.

I hope you heal quickly and soon!

Nothing like starting the holidays out in traction :(
I was just looking at some Allstate "Mayhem" commercials before reading this post.
I sure hope you recover soon. BTW you did have some good luck, but I certanly understand how you feel.

I'm glad you and the baby are OK! Got my fingers crossed that you won't need surgery.

Playing guitar and never playing for others is like studying medicine and never working in a clinic.

Be careful! I hope your feeling better. Yeah, I know, tell the jerk that hit you to be careful.

Thank you to everyone for your support. Sadly I won't be able to play guitar for a while. Between my leg and my growing stomach I can't hold one to play it. If anyone has suggestions to keep callouses that would be great. I'll keep you guys filled in on my progress.

Wow, that's terrible news! Glad the baby is okay though, and hope you don't have to have the surgery to fix anything.

As to your guitar delima, you could always go to a lap-steel! :)
