Thank you Sir Vic. Will need to take a look see. I've heard good things about the package. Isn't it a CD/DVD kinda thing?

I think it's kind of a multi-media thing - you can buy a CD, or you can shell out more for a DVD, or more again for a DVD with extras, more again for a CD/DVD package - you pays yer money, you takes your choice.....

I just thought the BBCiplayer link would be a useful sampler....hey, it's free to watch, AND it's legal....what have you got to lose?

Don't know about that one Vic. It IS a real shame that Pandora is limited to the US. Its really a good site. I can pick up the Gilmour CD, but not if it meant giving up my Pandora.

Great. I was missing the Pandora stuff and now the BBC as well. :(

Vic, do you think I could see it from Gibraltar? It is more or less near and I could take a bath in the beach!

I'm surprised it's not available in mainland Europe - I do know BBC TV channels are available. Back in Amsterdam in 2005 - we went for an Easter Break - I saw the very first episode of the new Doctor Who series in our hotel room. I suppose that says something about my life - a weekend in Amsterdam and I was watching Dr Who on Saturday night? Oh, and Match of the Day, of course - couldn't miss the football highlights!!!

:D :D :D

Well I was lucky enough to see it last Friday evening on BBC2 It was part of an entire David Gilmore/Pink Floyd evening schedule.

And I have to say it was brilliant. "Especially Wish You Were Here"

I just wish you had all been able to see it!

Guys! go to David Hodge's Easy Songs For Beginners on here and learn "Wish You Were Here" if you haven't already. You won't be sorry and you too can be David Gilmore whenever you want.

We receive BBC News and BBC World channels on cable and satellite and perhaps even more channels directly from Astra. I guess this is a special program or they want to control the bandwidth. Premier League is on TVE2.

Dogsbody, and remember also the lesson on Songs for intermediates which covers the intro!

Please, Vic or other UK member. I was looking for other videos and I found this:

http://www.youtube.com/user/officialdavidgilmour?ob=4

It is the Gilmour's official channel. It makes references to Gdansk and includes 12 videos. I don't know if they are the same videos than on BBC site.
