OK,
I know I'm a George nut, but I'm hoping some others here will be interested. The doc's due to be released on the fifth of October in the States, over two nights on HBO, and also coming out on DVD. It comes out on DVD in the UK on the 10th of October, with a Deluxe box available with two DVDs, a Blue Ray disc and a CD of unreleased music. Doc runs at three and a half hours...but seeing as it's Scorsese, it's bound to be good.

George was one of my favorite guitarists and song writers. He always put what was needed into a song. He wasn't about being flashy. You can also say the same about Kieth Richards. Thanks for the post. I will be getting this :note2:

I watched this 2 part documentary last week, wasn't really that impressed - actually found it a little slow paced and at some points boring. When Eric Clapton talked, that was great.
Anyone have a different opinion?
Only saw a few minutes and I wasn't interested
