I'm using my computer with Audacity for recording. I have my Digitech RP80 connected to the "Line In" and a computer microphone connected to the "mic" jack on my computer, but I can't figure out how to use Audacity to record both at the same time. I can hear my guitar through my speakers so I know the "Line in" is working.

Hi Dave
I don´t think it´s possible to record from a PC´s normal soundcards line-in and mic-in at the same time.
You must select either of them
And Audacity is also the same, you can only select one at a time.

You have to do your recordings in several steps; first record the guitar on one track, then change input and record with the mic on next track when you playback the guitar track.

If you need to do a one track recording of several inputs you need a mixer unit in front of the line-in port of the soundcard.
