Found this old cassette of a solo that was inspired by listening to Pat Martino (M,Wandishi) and Frank Zappa (Pink Napkins) its a bad quality recording but has some interesting groupings http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7098575
:note2: If you like your guitar sounding like a "demented chicken" then this has to be the solo for you.!!! :note2:

I really like the atmospheric vibe. Laid back & jazzy. 8)

so nice to have a great recording of your playing from awhile ago! I really liked it. Is the Maton an acoustic? Great playing and i liked the electric in the background, are you cover that as well? Thanks for posting,
dale

Thanks Dan, Dale and Smokindog for listening, sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

Dale........The Maton is an electric (MATON JB6) from around the early 80s. Its a great guitar and very hard to find. I,m lucky enough to have two of them. One has loads of pickup options (21 I think) and I put a midi pickup on it and the other has two humbuckers with a coil tap.
As for old recordings you should check out "Traveling World" http://soundclick.com/share?songid=6544101 it was recorded at home when I was 17.

Smokindog...... Yes it was recorded on a broken "Tascam Porta One" (I think)

Cheers........-TZ-

This song is really tight. I love the feeling of the rhythm parts. The lead tone is ridiculous in a very good way. Nice playing man... Nicely done.

Thanks "TaylorR" for listening......................The lead sound is thanks to the "ELECTRO HARMONIX BASS BALLS" filter pedal.
