A cover of "All I Can Do Is Write About It" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. It's actually one of the earlier songs that I learned, but I've not really played it that much recently. Not sure why. It is a bit obscure, but not as obscure as the last couple I recorded and posted. Don't let the Vermont-NY-Carolina accent scare you off. :D
Two things I worked on for this song. Letting the voice ring out some more, and a little more fluid strums, Maybe less rigid is a better phrase. Whatever. I got off to a rough start with the vocals, but got better as the song went on. It's about all my ear can handle for now, so perhaps sometime later I'll do another version. I did want to post what I had so far as there is evidence of me letting my voice out.
You might have to turn it up a tad. It was low on my PC for some reason.
Well, um, enjoy?

Hey Roy, nice song. I really like the guitar sounds really smooth.
Nice job Roy! Sound crisp and clear to me! Keep it up! And yeah, now we have proof of your voice....didn't you do something just a cople of weeks ago singing?
In Space, no one can hear me sing!
Good job! I liked that low growl in your voice you used at times 8)
Thanks guys? I appreciate it.
Joe, yes, I did some last week. A couple really slow ones that no-one has ever heard before. They were another in a series of attempts to sing behind the curtain, so to speak. Failed again, so I said the heck with it for some of this song and let the voice out. I did have a time getting going, but it did come out not too far into the song.
I also have been trying to ease the tension in my arms and wrists and I think I made a little headway with this song.
Smokindawg, pollen has a funny effect on my voice. I could not even sing two days ago. The world was a better place, if only for a day.
