A friend of mine (from Texas) has taught me a song hi thinks is called Sweet Abeline, but I have not found any traces of a song with these chords under that name on the net .
The chords are ; E, G#7,A7,A7,E,F#7,B7,C7,B7,E .

Do these lyrics sound familiar? It's "Abilene" by John D. Loudermilk and performed by Buck Owens and Bill Anderson.

(Abilene, Abilene,)
(Prettiest town I've ever seen)
(Women there don't treat you mean)
(In Abilene, my Abilene.)

I sit alone most every night
Watch those trains pull out of sight
Don't I wish they were carrying me
Back to Abilene, my Abilene.

(Abilene, Abilene,)
(Prettiest town I've ever seen)
(Women there don't treat you mean)
(In Abilene, my Abilene.)

Crowded city, ain't nothing free
Nothing in this old town for me
Wish to the Lord that I could be
In Abilene, sweet Abilene.

(Abilene, Abilene,)
(Prettiest town I've ever seen)
(Women there don't treat you mean)
(In Abilene, my Abilene.)...

Bill Anderson sang it as "In Abilene, sweet Abilene...." while the original is, obviously "..., my Abilene"

I haven't found a tab, but, since I wasn't sure if I was on the right track or not, I figured I'd find out by the lyrics!
