Check out the Little Martin. Got one for christmas, Sounds pretty good for a traval guitar, and not as tinny as the Back Packer.

Will a 3/4 size like a baby taylor fit in an overhead on a plan. I travel maybe 8 times a year and am also looking for a suggestion. I too thought about a Steinberger. How comfortable is it to play? do you need a strap to play it?

Thanks!

Trey

Wow, am I the only one who actually likes the backpacker shape and sound?!?! Now, it doesn't sound exactly like a big martin dreadnought, but that's the charm to it. It has sort of a middle-ages minstrel flavor to it, both sound-wise, and appearance wise, which I love. Go figure-I listen to Jethro Tull!

The only thing that matters is how sounds to you. 8)
