Very very nice! Have fun with it! I've always been a strat fan! My first guitar was a strat copy, and my second too, but they have both moved on. They were terrible guitars anyway, Argos's own and G4M own too. None cost over 70 quid. They were good to get started on though. I've recently bought an American Tele.

How much did this set you back?

David Watts
Takamine G-Series - £229
Fender STD American Telecaster (Cola Red) - £849
Vox 15watt AMP (Valve pre amp) - £129
Acoustic/Electric Rhythm and Lead (Occasionally) Southport Elim Youth Band
Former Aftershock 24/7 Rhythm Guitarist (Band split)

799 dollars! Wow guitars are so cheap in america. That converts to about £500 english money, but that ver same guitar would be close to £1000. My MIA STD Tele was £849.

Looking good, ksac. I was just reading today that the Tele version, also called a Special, had some sort of on-board electronics. Some gain sort of thing. Does yours have such a thing?
