Hey guys, I'm looking for some advice on whether or not there's some kind of device I can use to plug my electric guitar into my computer so that I can use some program and my headset etc in lieu of an actual amp (I currently don't have one unfortunately) so that I can still keep learning and practicing until I'm able to buy another one.

There must be something out there that will let me do this? I tried googling but I haven't really come up with anything.

Thanks in advance!

You need a DAW interface. There are loads available; start here -

Sure, but I've never used a DAW myself so I might not be as much help as you'd think
