Hi I've been playing for 6 months but my learnings been backwards I basically memorised open chords to play simple songs, I'd like to further my knowledge on theory and the scales but I don't know where to start. I know a few key words but I just can't get my head around it. I don't expect anyone to teach me but I'd really appreciate a link to something I can watch/read thanks in advance I am new here so I don't know if what I've posted is correct
Thank you

Hey, bro. I compiled a huge in-depth guide just for people like you: who don't know what to learn.
There's everything you need to know as a beginner: https://beginnerguitar.pro/how-to-improvise-on-guitar-guide
The main goal of the article is to help beginners to play solos and improvise, but it will still be very useful to you, I promise.
You can easily navigate through the table of contents to find the section you are specially interested in.
I highly recommend you to check it out since I was writing it specifically for beginner level.
Hope you find it useful.
Please let me your opinion after you read it and feel free to ask me any questions you have.
