Ooo---k

I'm going to add another easy chord song from the great Christy Moore, I've had great fun working on this with my guitar.

Again it's good for acoustic with electric accompanyment. The intro on the Youtube video will give a good idea of the strum pattern required.

I think this song is just as powerful as "North and South" and in the light of yesterday's tragic events and waste of life in Northern Ireland, as relevant today as in the troubles. I pray we don't have a beginning to all that again. Life is precious and should be lived in peace whatever creed, colour or nationality we are

So here goes!

SMOKE AND STRONG WHISKEY

Have fun with it and don't worry if you forget bits. As you can see from the clip Christy had to ask Declan for the first chord and declared it would be a miracle if he got through it all.

The guitar is all right John but you'll never make a living out of it! (John Lennon's Aunt Mimi)
