Hi!
I'm working on the classic rock song I Love Rock And Roll, but there's something strange in the tab that I found...
Evrything seems great except that part:
Verse 2 (Cont'd):
---------------------------------------------------
----------------5-5x-------------------------------
-2-2x--2-2x--4-4x--2~-----4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4--
-2-2x--2-2x--2-2x--2~-----4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4--
-0-0x--4-4x---------0~-----2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2---
---------------------------------------------------
The third and fourth chords... Are they OK? They sound very bad to my ears....
" First time I heard the music
I thought it was my own
I could feel it in my heartbeat
I could feel it in my bones
... Blame it on the love of Rock'n'Roll! "
That is simply an A Major chord with the third played in the bass instead of the root, usually written A/C#. This is a common chord. Play the bottom bass note in each chord and listen to the nice bass line. :D
Now, if it doesn't sound like the song, the tab could be incorrect. But it is a common chord.
If you know something better than Rock and Roll, I'd like to hear it - Jerry Lee Lewis
Thanks! I changed it a little bit and it sounds greater.
