I don't know why i am trying to do this , but i am trying to see a connection between frequency and pitch in a guitar

Is this useful when learning guitar ?

Yes, the frequency of the note one octave higher is exactly double, and the ratio of those in between in between is a simple formula involving the 12th root of two.

It won't help you shred, but it's useful to know
