Concerning the technique called follow the leader:
Which finger do you find is the easiest to follow? Do you ever change the lead finger depending if you are going up or down the fret board?
Do you concentrate on where the lead finger goes to in the next chord, and let muscle memory place the other fingers into the chord shape?
