Right... So I am mid 20s and know almost nothing about guitars.
I have a hand me down from a friend and I can easily follow along to some videos on YouTube but I still don't actually know anything... I feel I am just a guitar parrot just now.
I really want to learn from the ground up. I have considered getting lessons with a teacher but I just don't have the time to actuall plan stuff like that into my life with how my job is. I guess I am asking if there are any really great free courses online? I am already using three at the moment but not sure if I should just buy something???

In terms of what I want to do... Well, I just want to be able to jam away without constantly thinking "how the hell do I play this thing?!" Wouldn't mind learning a few songs along the way too, rock, blues even a bit of cheesy pop :)
Why not try the lessons on this site; apart from anything else, they're good and they're free.

I have added them to the list of lessons for this weekend actually :)
I just want to get as many different opinions as possible I guess haha!
I'd suggest you to buy Guitar For Dummies, with DVD by Mark Phillips and Jon Chappell.
You can check it out on Amazon ;)
