First off I'm new to this so I apologize if this is not the right place or should not be discussed. I looked around and this seemed like a good starting point. I have played acousticly for years and I'm trying to get into the electric/effects so I can jam with some friends.. I like the sound of Evans Blue (the original, not sure yet about the new), but my setup either seems too dirty or too clean. I'm not sure how to get the type of sound for lead guitar.. Right now I have a SG G-310, Kustom 100w amp, crybaby, boss comp/sust., digital multi-effect i believe its zoom, and i just got big muff pi. The big muff gets me close to what I'm looking for but is a little too much fuzz. I would appreciate on any suggestions on what I should get/change.. Or anyone know the setup used in songs like evans blue eclipsed or cold. Thanks in advance.
